Are They the One for You?

REAL RELATIONSHIPS

If you can’t do epic sh*t with your person, how high are the chances that they are really your person?? We’d say they’re pretty low. Lol. Before you plan a post-Quarantine vacation, make sure you have someone like Yanique or Rondel in your corner. The married pair are known to travel the world together and one of their latest trips was to Ghana in 2019 for the Year of Return. On this special trip to the Motherland, the two prayed to the ancestors and spent time with Ghanaian schoolchildren. They also returned home with new names that were bestowed upon them in a traditional naming ceremony. Start analyzing your Quarantine bae to see if they can withstand all the adventurous stuff you like to do. If they can’t...NEXT!

BLACK IN BUSINESS

Beauty supply stores, hair salons, and nail shops around the country are closed. That means, many ladies are STRUGGLING with their efforts to keep themselves looking their flyest. If this is you or your boo, 25th & June is willing and ready to take care of your nails. The toxin-free and vegan friendly brand cares about the health of your nails above all. Also, have you ever noticed that most “nude” polishes aren’t actually nude for us? Yeah, 25th & June has got an answer for that with their Skin Deep collection.

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS

Nick Cannon said he’d pick up the baton on the Dr. Sebi documentary after Nipsey Hussle passed. Many questioned whether it’d actually happen, but the media mogul put his money where his mouth is. He released the trailer to the documentary and it features many of the thought leaders in the Black community today. There’s no release date yet, but the trailer is so powerful that people will surely be waiting in line to see it.

This weekend, over 200K people tuned into the IG Live battle between Lil Jon and T-Pain. While we love the T-Pain classics, Lil Jon was just too much to handle. The icing on the cake was when he confirmed at the end that Ursher, Jon, & Luda really did do it again. Check out the song Usher wasn’t ready for the masses to hear. By the way, where would we be during this quarantine if it weren’t for Instagram? In addition to the constant flow of jokes and information, the battles between our favorite musicians have been keeping us going.
